Heather Mills is going BankRupt

Heather Mills has sold her nine-bedroom mansion to pay the legal bills for her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney.

Heather will go back where she used to live earlier - Brighton England - after selling her Robertsbridge, East Sussex country estate in order to collect the cash deposit of one million dollars she put down on the property.

The sum came after the former model sold a converted barn given to her by the ex-Beatle after their split in May 2006.

However, Mills has not gained any profits from the sale of her mansion, as it sold for 6.5 million dollars - the same amount she paid six months ago for the home.

Last year, in an appearance on U.K. TV show GMTV, Mills admitted her divorce battle with Sir Paul has left her 3 million dollars in debt.
