Okay, honestly…a lot of you are a bit delusional here. Now I’m a fan of Britney myself, so I’m in no way a hater. But even I know this didn’t sound all that great - at all.
Was it live? Yes.
Was it “amazing” or “brilliant”, as some of you put it? Absolutely not. It takes a REAL fan to realize that Brit’s voice has changed over the years, and not for the better, and to not fool themselves into thinking that her vocals here sounded good. They were all over the place and out of tune.
What I would love to see is Britney take vocal lessons to bring her voice back to the way it used to be. When I see videos of her younger years on the mickey mouse club, she sounded so good. She doesn’t sound like that now. She CAN sing live - she just needs vocal lessons so she can sing live and sound decent at the same time.
I’m rooting for her to improve as time goes on, but let’s be real here folks - she just did not sound great here. This is coming from a REAL fan who won’t sugarcoat it!

this is live. not lip-synched. you can see and hear the distortion from the live singing and she keeps clutching your throat and hitting sour notes. it’s not perfect because its real. she did a good job. glad to see her trying again.
