Britney Spears Drives Over A Cop!

Britney Spears’ legal troubles made another turn for the worse this past Friday when she drove over a Los Angeles County Sheriff deputy’s foot while he was assisting her maneuver through a crowd of photogs outside the courthouse.

The incident was filed as a traffic collision complaint by the Sheriff’s Department and is under active investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department as a possible hit and run.

In a statement to TMZ, the authorities told, “The LAPD is aware that Britney Spears was leaving the courthouse. We are also aware that a deputy was injured. The LAPD is unable to confirm the details on the deputy’s injury because the investigation is in its initial stage.”

Britney was at the L.A. County Courthouse for a ongoing custody hearing.
