In his GQ interview, reports the BBC, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger claims that he has never done any drugs, even though a 1970s body-building documentary exists where he is seen smoking a joint.

I’m sure Arnold has an explanation for this. Says Schwarzenegger to GQ: “That is not a drug. It’s a leaf. My drug was pumping iron, trust me.”

Let’s let that sink in for a moment. Weed = leaf. Leaves = legal, right?

His rep jumped all over the report, telling everyone who would listen that the quote was taken out of context and “of course” Arnold knows marijuana is a drug. And a leaf.

It’s not like the American People have ever elected anyone that stupid to the Governor’s seat. We save real stupidity for the White House.
